 Mothership Manor's cooking classes are designed to empower individuals to create delicious, nutritious, and easy plant-based meals.  Our focus is on practical skills, accessible ingredients, and a fun, supportive learning environment.  We cater to various skill levels, dietary needs, and culinary interests.

Cooking Class Curriculum for Mothership Manor

Plant-Powered Pantry:

Exploring essential ingredients, stocking your pantry, understanding plant-based proteins, and mastering basic cooking techniques (e.g., roasting vegetables, cooking grains, making sauces).

Mediterranean Magic

 Exploring the vibrant flavors of the Mediterranean diet with plant-based twists.  Think flavorful salads, hearty grain bowls, and delicious dips. 

Asian Fusion

 Creating flavorful and satisfying plant-based dishes inspired by Asian cuisine.  Learning to make stir-fries, noodle dishes, and flavorful sauces. 

Indian Delights

   Discovering the rich and aromatic flavors of Indian cuisine with plant-based adaptations.  Learning to make curries, lentil dishes, and flavorful rice preparations. 


Quick & Easy Weeknight Meals:

Creating delicious and nutritious plant-based meals in 30 minutes or less. Focus on time-saving tips, one-pan meals, and batch cooking strategies.

Monday

 One-Pan Mediterranean Quinoa & Veggies:  Quinoa, chickpeas, and a colorful array of Mediterranean vegetables (bell peppers, zucchini, olives, artichoke hearts) roasted on a single pan with herbs and a lemon-tahini dressing. Tip: Pre-chopped veggies save time 

Tuesday

 15-Minute Lentil Soup:  Red lentils, diced tomatoes, onions, garlic, and warming spices simmered quickly into a hearty and flavorful soup. Tip: Batch cook lentils for future meals. 

Wednesday

  Thai Green Curry with Tofu:  A quick and easy green curry made with coconut milk, green curry paste, tofu, and your favorite vegetables (broccoli, snap peas, spinach). Served with rice noodles. Tip: Use pre-made curry paste for speed. 

Thursday

  Thai Green Curry with Tofu:   Black Bean Burgers with Avocado Crema:  Homemade black bean burgers (can be pre-made) served on buns with a creamy avocado topping.  Tip: Double the burger recipe for future meals. 

Friday

  Sheet Pan Fajitas:  Bell peppers, onions, and plant-based "chicken" or mushrooms seasoned with fajita spices and roasted on a sheet pan. Served with tortillas and your favorite toppings. Tip: Marinate the "chicken" or mushrooms ahead of time. s. 

Mothership Manor's cooking classes will be taught by the founder (vegan-trained chef) and potentially other qualified culinary instructors or registered dietitians/nutritionists specializing in plant-based cuisine.
